History The
Special Interest Group on eGovernment – or eGovernance – is affiliated with the Association
for Information Systems (AIS), the premier global
organization for academics specializing in Information Systems. SIGeGov was approved by the AIS
in early 2004. Founders and Chairs
Board of Advisors The Board
is involved in supporting the officers in carrying out the SIG's mission. A
pivotal responsibility of the Board is to use its expertise and experience to
ensure quality in the SIG's efforts to develop eGovernment
